Soaring Towers, a Riverside, CA-based MSP, using Hudu to centralize and modernize IT documentation.

Meet Soaring Towers

Soaring Towers, a managed service provider based in Riverside, California, specializes in IT solutions, cybersecurity, and cloud integration. Previously using SharePoint for documentation, they found that information quickly became outdated. Soaring Towers was seeking a more reliable, centralized solution, which led them to Hudu. We spoke with Nick Costa, CTO, on what they've been able to accomplish with Hudu so far.

What struggles were you facing before Hudu?

Outdated and difficult-to-find documentation

  • Documentation quickly became outdated, making it unreliable for technicians.

Slower workflows

  • Techs struggled to locate important information about tools and client environments, slowing down workflows.

Inefficient onboarding for new technicians

  • New hires had to spend a significant amount of time learning where everything was stored.
  • Understanding client infrastructure was a challenge without a clear system.

What solutions does Hudu provide, and how has it benefited your business?

Reduced onboarding time by 30%

  • By consolidating everything into Hudu, we created a “single source of truth,” allowing our technicians to get up to speed faster.

Decreased time to resolve (TTR) by 20%

  • Hudu’s centralized platform cuts down the techs time spent searching for client data, allowing us to resolve issues more efficiently and reduce the number of escalations.

More seamless integrations

  • Hudu’s integrations with other platforms has reduced our reliance on disconnected systems.

How does your team utilize Hudu?

We initially adopted Hudu for password management, quickly recognizing its value in securing credentials and simplifying team access. Over time, we have transitioned all of our business documents into Hudu, making it our centralized platform for documentation, internal processes, and knowledge sharing.

Password management

  • Hudu’s Password Management feature allows Soaring Towers to securely store and organize credentials in a centralized vault. With permission controls and encryption, the team can ensure that passwords are both protected and easily accessible when needed.

Knowledge base

  • By leveraging Hudu’s Knowledge Base, Soaring Towers built a structured repository for internal guides, client documentation, and reference materials. This centralized library ensures consistency and helps new team members ramp up faster.
