Another one of Hudu's in-product security features that you are able to set up is IP Access Control. This enhancement allows admins to specify which IP addresses can access the Hudu environment, providing an added layer of protection against unauthorized access. The two main benefits of this are:
- Enhanced Security: By whitelisting specific IPs, you help to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
- Centralized IP Management: All configurations can be made directly from the Hudu admin page.
You are able to set up this security measure in Hudu's admin page -> Security -> IP Access Control:
As you can see in the photo above, IP access control rules will not apply to publicly shared pages, the REST API, and Hudu's external apps. This helps ensure your sensitive information is restricted to the IP's that you allow, but doesn't limit your automation or your techs needing to access Hudu on the go.
