2025 Wrapped: A Year Shaped by Your Feedback

2025 was a defining year for Hudu. We shipped major features that made documentation faster, smarter, and more secure — and we invested heavily on improving performance and the workflows teams use daily.

Our community grew, our product expanded, and our customers pushed us to build better.

Here’s a look back at everything your feedback helped create.

Key Highlights: The Big Wins of 2025

Hudu Radar

This year we launched our first ever product add-on, Hudu Radar. Radar lets you automatically discover networks and devices, capture detailed information, and map network topology — all inside Hudu.

Core Product

• Connected fields — Syncs asset layout fields with integration data to reduce manual updates and keep information accurate.
  

• Workflows — Automates record flagging when items are created or updated so you never miss a thing.
  

• Global views — Provides an overview page where users can see all assets, passwords, networks, racks, expirations, and websites they have permission for across companies.

• Hudu/Halo KB sync (in beta) — Automatically syncs your Hudu KB to Halo to ensure up-to-date documentation across both systems.

• PDF overhaul (in beta) — Makes PDF's more complete, readable, and easier to navigate. You’ll notice improvements like KB article support, included password OTPs, an expanded table of contents, RTL language support, styled code blocks, watermarks on printed PDFs, and automatic export dates added to filenames.
• Hudu Bridge — Enables secure access between multiple Hudu environments for teams who support shared clients or operate across instances.
• Hudini AI assistant — Summarizes KB articles, answers questions based on context, and follows administrator-defined prompt rules.
  

• Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning — Creates new user accounts on their first SSO login — no manual setup required.

• Website monitoring — Monitors DNS, WHOIS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and other website changes.
• SSO exempt groups — Allows specific groups to bypass SSO requirements when necessary.
  
• Customize content security (in beta) — Enables admins to toggle Hudu’s default content security policies on/off and customize lists of approved frame, media, style, and script sources.

• Bulk actions for photos (in beta) — Deletes or move photos between folders in bulk.

• Global table filtering (in beta) — Supports color and tag filters for faster sorting on password tables, and Flag Review lets you filter by item type — helping you zero in on exactly what needs attention.

Browser Extension

• Screen capture — Documents steps quickly while working in real time. This tool supports capturing clicks, zooming or blurring the image, and saving screenshots directly into KB articles or Processes.
  

Mobile App

• Photo folders — Lets you view existing photo folders, add new photos, and move photos between folders to stay organized.
  

• Updated password generator — Aligns mobile password generation with web settings and admin defaults.
• Biometric verification option — Adds the ability to require Face ID/Touch ID verification before showing confidential text.

Integrations

In 2025, we continued expanding how Hudu connects to the systems you use every day. We introduced new integrations, improved several existing ones, and saw partners contribute even more. New integrations include:

More to Celebrate

Outside of product releases, we accomplished a lot this year, and we’re grateful to celebrate these milestones with you.

•  Hudu Community — Our collaboration platform where users share scripts, watch training videos in the Academy, and exchange questions and ideas about documentation and day-to-day workflows.
  

• Conferences and events — This year we attended MSP GeekCon, Connect Global, IT Nation, and DattoCon. These events gave us a chance to meet users, hear feedback, and see how Hudu fits into real workflows. As we head into the next year, expect to see us at more conferences and events, chatting with experts, meeting new teams, and continuing to grow the Hudu community.
• Customer success stories — We made it a priority this year to speak with customers and document how Hudu supports their day-to-day work. We talked with many customers about their experiences, challenges, and wins. Take a look at what they shared.
